Do you know why I played this game?
Because it offered one thing that swg didn't (non jedi anyways)
Do you know what that was?
It was bounty hunting now I started off as a lowly misson runner as well and I was pirated once too but I congradulated that pirate (Sgt.Dragon) and went along with my bussines. I ran missions I did some scam courier missions and ended up camped in RA territory. Yeah sh*t happens but thats why I love this game the fact that it emphasizes nothing is safe EVER.
Note: Bounty Hunting is the suxxors but I like Piracy better

Well 0.0 space can be controlled as there are set choke points in which you can camp and keep your miners relatively
safe with no problems at all, lowsec is pretty much 0.0 without gate control well friendly gate control
